With the gracious presence of His Grace Bishop Tadros, Bishop of Port Said and its Dependencies, and Abbot of the Monastery of St. Prince Tadros El-Shatby and St. Moses the Black in Serapeum, the Social Welfare Meeting was held today at the Church of St. Mercurius (Abu Sefein) and St. Demiana in Port Said, in an atmosphere filled with love, fellowship, and spiritual edification.

The meeting featured a rich and fruitful program that brought together the reverend priests in an open dialogue and a shared vision for the development and activation of social welfare services across the Diocese. The program included spiritual reflections, presentations highlighting the achievements accomplished thus far, and an overview of the plans and objectives for the coming phase. It also included constructive discussions addressing current challenges and needs, as well as ways to enhance the effectiveness and impact of the Church’s social welfare ministry.

The gathering was distinguished by a true spirit of unity and family, as the fathers exchanged experiences and ideas, affirming that authentic ministry begins with the heart and is built upon love, cooperation, and shared service for the benefit of every soul and every person in need.

We pray that the Lord may bless this ministry, granting wisdom, grace, and a servant’s heart to all who labor in it, so that the Church may always remain a compassionate hand extended in love and generosity, faithfully reflecting Christ’s love through service to all.
