Social Welfare Services in Egypt: A Beacon of Hope for the Needy
Social Welfare Services is a beacon of hope that shines on the dioceses of Egypt. As a Christian system working under the patronage and leadership of His Holiness Pope Tawadros II, it is based on ten basic principles, which are (no Christian is deprived of a church – no hungry person is deprived of food – no patient is deprived of treatment – no naked person is deprived of clothing – no child is deprived of education – no youth is deprived of work – no man is deprived of shelter – no girl of marriage – no prisoner of a visit – no oppressed person of a defense). We strive to extend a helping hand to foster families and provide them with effective social programs that give them a better future.

Building a future worthy of our children
The belief and commitment to social justice are the two pillars on which our social welfare services are based, and through our three main programs – Educate Your child, focuses on providing quality education to children at the first stages of school (primary and preparatory), Daughter of the King, focuses on helping girls with marriage expenses by opening savings bank accounts for them, and Blessing Bag, which focuses on securing healthy nutritious food to families .
